Zoe ruled all of our four-legged children and our house. What Zoe wanted she got. She was a tigress yet always let us know what a princess she was. On a few occasions I would find her and her brother Gizmo out in our yard having cornered a snake or an Opossum that was very capable of eating both of these little terrier’s. She was always the hunter while her bigger brother followed along getting bored and wandering off to look for a comfy spot to sleep. When they were younger Zoe never played with toys like her brother. But one thing she did do was harass him over his toys and put a paw on one to dare him to take it back! She was tenacious in tormenting him but adored him as well.

It was amazing to watch brother and sister be connected too. We decided that they were because they would be in separate rooms and we would  hear Gizmo growling as he laid in his doggy bed and look around to figure out what he was growling at then lo and behold in a short bit he would slink out of his bed all bent out of shape and Zoe would come strolling in to take his bed. It did not matter that there was an empty bed next to his. She wanted his! We watched this happen for years. What a power struggle and she did this with our big dogs Lady and Whisper as well. They completely bowed down to her highness.

Zoe and Gizmo were brought into my life when I was with my former husband Roger and when we divorced I got custody. They were a great comfort during a sad time. Roger loved them as much as I did so I was really grateful when he conceded in my keeping them.

Now for the last eight years my wonderful husband Harry has loved them much. We will miss her soft silky hair and itty bitty delicacy and larger than life personality.
